Simple post-> we made it!!
On May 15th around 6:30pm we rolled up to our hostel near Kings Cross, showered and then ate an Indian feast.
I will continue to post on our completed stretch but just wanted to share that we had completed our ride.
Becca and I had an amazing cycle together and highly recommend the UK east coast. Our journey took us through sheep flocks, steep hills, ales, fish & chips, cow paths, hamlets, cathedrals, pies, more steep hills, pubs, hostels, hosts, Airbnb’s, chocolate digestive cookies, body aches, country roads, open access freeways, headwinds, knee pains, map checking and yorky pies! Thanks to Becca for conjuring this bike trip and being such a great riding partner. I love you tons and can’t wait for our next tour.
