Highlights->

We started off the morning with breakfast and a long conversation with our hosts Joyce and Conrad. By 11 we hit the road and traversed a quite a few more miles of cow paths and pasture gates. Lucked out on the weather and sunned ourselves as we rode down the coast. In our experience, UK May weather is beautiful: clear blue skies, 70 degrees Fahrenheit.. forecast rain never materialized.

The last half of our day was a slog. Although we were back on proper asphalt, it was about 6 miles too long with way too much navigating. We pulled into Blyth around 6, beelined for dinner and passed out that night.
